F.A.Q.

As a rule of thumb, learning to drive takes around 40 hours of professional lessons
and 20 hours of private practice
. That could be spread out over three or four
months. The trouble is, everyone is different.

Of course! All you need to start learning to drive is your provisional licence. You can decide to do the theory test before the lessons but you learn a lot of what you need for the theory test during your lessons. Learning this way instead of only doing revision from books can make the information much easier to remember.

You can start learning to drive a car on public roads from the age of  17 if you hold a provisional driving licence. You can apply for your provisional licence when you are 15 years and 9 months old.

Yes, you can. In fact we find that many of our most anxious drivers go on to become some of the safest drivers. We help you deal with any anxiety you may have by maintaining a calm, friendly and fun environment.

All of our lessons are currently at £35 per hour which represents excellent value for money as we offer more than just the lesson time. Included in the cost is FREE access to Total Drive App to track your progress,
